Non-structural protein 9 (nsp9)– nsp9 may participate in viral replication by acting as a ssRNA-binding protein.2 Nsp9 and nsp10 interact with NKRF, an NF-КB repressor, and may cause a IL-8/IL-6 mediated chemotaxis of neutrophils and overexuberant host inflammatory response.15 Nsp9 has also been shown to interact with nsp8 as well.4
